The Hierarchy of the Church of Samhain

The Church of Samhain is proud to have a hierarchy with ranks and degrees that serve as official recognition of accomplishments and attainments of our members. They are not available for purchase, but instead must be earned. The qualifications for earning them, however, will not be made public. This is to insure that no one is abusing the system, and that the love of Halloween remains front and center, instead of a search for status within the organization. 

In order to receive a rank, or be elevated to any higher ranks, one must be an official member of the Church of Samhain and keep Administrative Ministry updated on their activities. We ask that you update us, not only in regards to your spooky endeavors, but how you’re applying the philosophy in non-spooky areas of life as well. Please include details of your projects, goals, and accomplishments. We also ask that you keep us updated on your mailing address as well, as we will be mailing you a Certificate of Elevation for every time you receive a new rank. 

We hope that this system brings recognition and a sense of pride to our members that wish to contribute to both our creepy cause and their personal lives, by applying Samhainism how they see fit.  

NOTE: Certain ranks come with certain optional opportunities, such as being an official spokesperson for the Church. Not all ranks have these opportunities, and those that do will be clarified below. Also, any and all ranks are honorary, and can be given and taken away at the discretion of the Administrative Ministry. Any conduct determined to go against the values of Samhainism and the Church of Samhain will result in losing both the degree and honorary rank.

***-These ranks may represent the Church of Samhain publicly if they have received necessary permission from the Administrative Ministry.
